On Monday 6th July 2009 at 9:15am of a shooting incident, police visited the North Creek Area, Belize City where they saw the lifeless body of STEVEN ANTHONY GRANT, 20 years, lying face up, with gunshot wounds to the head. Initial investigation reveal that the victim was walking when he was accosted by two male persons on separate bicycles; one pulled out a handgun and fired shots causing the fatal injuries. The body is now awaiting a Postmortem Examination as police investigation continues.
On the 6/7/09, Dr. Mario ESTRADABRAN conducted a postmortem examination on the body of Clarence Raymond LESLIE where at the conclusion he certified the cause of death to be Exsanguination due to internal and external bleeding as a consequence of gunshot wound to the head.
On the 6/7/09, Dr. Mario ESTRADABRAN conducted a postmortem examination on the body of Sardia CASIMIRO where the cause of death was certified as, subdural hemorrhage due to head traumatism.
Reference firearm and ammunition report dated 4/7/09, on the 5/7/09 Orange Walk Police arrested and charged Ryan BANNER 20yrs, of Antelope extension, Belize City and Kent ENGLETON 29yrs, of San Diego Street, Orange Walk Town for the offense of Kept Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition.
KEPT UNLICENSED FIREARM AND AMMUNITION/ ARREST
On the 5/7/09, Police on mobile patrol on the San Antonio Road, Orange Walk District conducted a search on Joslyn FLOWERS Jr. 20yrs, of South End, Corozal Town. The search led to the discovery of (1) .38 special revolver, smith and Wesson containing (4) .38 rounds of ammunition. As a result he was arrested and charged for Kept Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunitions.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING
On the 6/7/09, between the hours of 10:35am and 11:25am, the Consejo Shores Neighborhood Watch Group held their monthly meeting at the Consejo Shores Library. Twelve persons attended including the Police. Points discussed were (1) brief report on the investigation of Burglaries at Consejo Shore; (2) strength of vigilance of the group at Consejo Shores, (3) Implementation of alarm system at the Consejo Shores, (4) Quick response of the Police at burglary scene, (5) the president Mrs. Eileen KILLAGAN brief the group of being the mistress of ceremony for the Police Officers and Special Constable for the month of June 2009.
