FATHER ACCUSED OF INCEST

On 22.07.08 a 17 year old young lady of Punta Gorda Town accompanied by her aunt from Dangriga Town to the Dangriga police station; and reported to police that on 29.06.08 at about 11:45pm whilst at home in Punta Gorda Town, she was awakened by her father who told her to go in his room. Upon reaching in his room, he had sexual intercourse with her. She stated that this has been happening for the past three years. Dangriga police have issued a medico legal form and requested that a medical examination be done. The matter has been referred to Punta Gorda Police.

15 YEAR OLD MOLESTED BY GRANDFATHER AND CARNALLY KNOWN BY AIRSTRIP SECURITY GUARD


A 15 year old female minor visited the police accompanied by her mother and reported that sometime between 5:00pm on the 17/07/08 and 7:00am on the 18/07/08 she went to the Municipal Airstrip along with her grandfather who touched her on both breasts and a couple of hours later, she had sexual intercourse with a security guard -- only known to her as “JOSE” at the Municipal Airstrip. A medical examination was conducted on the child where the doctor certified that she was carnally known. Police are looking for the two suspects in connection with this incident.

GILL THREATENED AND FEARS FOR LIFE

MR. CECIL GILL, 46yrs, Tour Guide/Taxi Driver of #2 Logwood Street, Belize City, reported that on the 27/6/08 at about 6:30 pm whilst standing on the side walk on Cemetery Road, Belize City, across from the taxi stand in front of Roger Stadium, when one BERT VASQUEZ, drove by in dark color Mazda car (lp#C-26333), slowed down in front of him and shouted obscene and threatening words in his direction. Bert Vasquez then drove off and GILL immediately became fearful. Gill and Vasquez have a case before the court where it is alleged that Bert Vasquez assaulted him with a firearm on the 01/05/08. Police are looking for the suspect for questioning.

THIEF CAUGHT IN THE ACT


On the 19/7/08 about 10:30 pm whilst on mobile patrol on New Town Barrack, Belize City, behind the Pickwick Club, police observed a male person dress in dark color clothing that was under a vehicle, acting suspiciously. The male person threw out what appeared to be a 9mm pistol from off his pants waist. He was then taken out from under the vehicle, where he was seen to be wearing stockings over his face and gloves on hands. He was further searched and found in his front pants pocket were: (1) utility knife, (1) utility blade, and (1) black color roll of electrical tape. The Pistol was retrieved from under the vehicle but was found to be a gray plastic pistol. The man, identified as MARLON CLARK was then escorted to the Queen Street Police station. CLARK, 30yrs, is a Fire Fighter of mile 19 Northern Highway, was informed of the offense committed and placed under arrest pending charges.

POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION

On the 22/7/08 at 1:15 pm Dr. Mario Estradaban conducted a postmortem examination on the lifeless body of a dark skin male person with short dreads identified to the police and the doctor as ROBERT JONES aka “BLACK”, 24yrs, of #4500 Evergreen street, Belize City, by his mother. At the conclusion of the examination Dr. Mario Estradaban certified the cause of death as Exsanguination due to internal and external bleeding due to multiple gunshot wounds.

HOME INVASION

On Tuesday the 22nd July 2008, about 11:00 pm FEMOLI CORREA, 46yrs, house wife of 3rd Street South Corozal Town, visited the Corozal Police station and reported that at about 9:00 pm , whilst at home along with her mother MURCIANA COC and her three children, two dark skin male persons both wearing grey T- shirts and grey short pants , armed with what appears to be hand guns, entered her residence where one of the male person pointing the gun at her and robbed her of her gold chain. The man with the gun hit her to the face causing a small cut wound to her mouth. The other male person searched through the entire house and they both left with the following: (1) Gold chain and medal with the words “love mom”, valued at $300.00 (1) Gold chain and medal that has 16 different types of stones, valued at $250.00, (1) Gold chain with stone center of medal, valued $175, (2)Pairs hook gold earring with stone, valued $500.00, (1) Blue in color Motorola Krazer brand cell phone, valued $500,and (1) I Pod, valued $600.00 all to a total value of $2,325.

On Tuesday 22nd July 2008, about 10:30pm Carlos Pena Sr., 39 years, Welder of College Rd. Corozal Town, visited the Corozal Police Station and reported that on Monday 21st July, 2008 at about 4pm whilst at home he was attacked by his son Carlos Pena Jr. with a machete, who chopped him on his face causing a cut wound to his nose and fore head. A medico legal form was issued and police detained Carlos Pena Jr., 19yrs, of College Rd., pending charges.

Ref. report dated 20th July 2008, police formally arrested and charged VALENTINE NUNEZ, 46yrs, of #892 “G” Street South Corozal Town for the crimes of “ATTEMPTED MURDER” and “DANGEROUS HARM”.

ARREST:
Ref report made by Herbert Bodden on the 21/7/08, police formally arrested and charged Hilda Locario, 32yrs, of #6832 Tibruce Street, Belize City, for the crime of “Arson”.

ARREST: Ref report made on the 22/7/08, police formally arrested and charged Marlon Clark, 30yrs, Fire Fighter of mile 19 Northern Highway, Belize City, for the offenses of “Possession of Imitation Firearm and Going Equipped”.

ARREST: Ref report made by Austin Stevens on the 18/7/08, police formally arrested and charged Keith Middleton, 22yrs, of #9027 Jane Usher Boulevard, Belize City and Kevin Hendy, 35yrs, of #8763 JR Street, Belize City for the crimes of “Damage to Property and Aggravated Assault”.

MARYBETHS’ VERBAL TIRADE

On Tuesday July 22, at about 8:20am Mrs. Violet Moulton,41, of Crooked Tree visited Ladyville Police and reported that on Monday at about 7:45pm she was At home along with her sister Sharika Codd when a young lady – known to her as Marybeth Wade – arrived at her home and stood outside of her gate and called for her. Marybeth identified herself and insultingly called her outside and threatened to kill her daughter. Mrs. Moulton finally told police Marybeth continued launching a tirade of verbal insults, then left. Marybeth Wade, 17 years of age, has been summoned to court for the offense of Insulting Words.
