LIFE THREATENED MR. AUSTIN STEVENS, 25yrs, of #8528 Jane Usher Boulevard, Belize City reported to police that at about 9:00am on the18/7/08 whilst on his way home in his car, upon reaching on Freedom Street, a blue and green truck stopped beside him. He recognized the occupants as Kevin Hendy and Keith Middleton who exited the vehicle -- armed with firearms resembling 9mm pistols. Hendy walked towards his driver’s side while Middleton went to the front passenger door. Kevin called Stevens a snitch then pointed his firearm in his direction and threaten to kill him, whilst Keith stood by holding his firearm in his hand. Thereafter they knocked the rear glass window and Stevens sped off and went home. At home, with his brother Tyrone Stevens, he again saw the pickup truck with Hendy and Middleton approaching from the direction of Central American Boulevard and stopped one lane from them, Stevens told police he heard Hendy saying, “I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR BROTHER CAUSE UNU DA INFORMER” then both Hendy and Middleton exited the vehicle armed with their firearm and walked a distance away from them. Keith then crank his firearm got into their vehicle and drove towards them but Stevens and associates ran inside his mother’s yard thereafter the men drove off in their pickup truck. Police are looking for the suspects and continue their investigation. MASKED ROBBERS On Friday 18/7/08 Hui Hung Chu, 42yrs, businessman of La Luma Luz Blvd reported to police that some time around 7:45pm on Friday 18/7/08 whilst at his business establishment along with his wife Maria, his son Kamani and an unknown customer, two masked men entered and robbed the establishment of (1) Nokia brand cell phone model 6110 with GPS valued $1,600.00bcy and $150.00bcy in cash which was under the counter and both left running towards George Price Avenue. Police are looking for the two suspects – already known to them. BRAZEN ROBBERS On Friday 18/7/08 at 11:30pm Martin Wall, business man of Spanish Look Out and owner of Country meats reported to the Police that at around 10:30pm on Friday 18/7/08 he arrived home where he saw a Grey 4 door car parked in front of his home. Upon exiting his vehicle he was ambushed by 3 male persons of Creole descent wearing masks and armed with a sawed off shot gun and 2 hand guns. They grabbed him and escorted him inside his house where he observed that his 12 yrs old son, Michael Wall, was tied -- and had his home ransacked. He further stated that they entered his office and stole an undisclosed amount of money and began ordering him to hand over more money and amputated one of his fingers then left the scene. The scene was visited and processed and Martin Wall was escorted to the Belmopan Hospital for medical treatment. Police are conducting an intensive investigation and are asking for the help of the public in providing information to solve this brazen crime. MAN CHARGED WITH CARNAL KNOWLEDGE A 13 year old female minor of Los Tambos Village, accompanied by her father reported to police that on the 13/7/08 at 7:00pm she ran away from home with Carlos Morales. She had been living at his home where they both were engaged in sexual intercourse every day until the 17/8/08 at 3:00pm when the Police went for her. A medical examination was conducted on the minor and the doctor certified she had been carnally known. Carlos Morales, 22yrs, of Los Tambos, has been arrested and charged with the crime of Carnal knowledge. ARMICK ESCOBAR MISSING Mishelene Escobar, 21yrs, of Belize City reported that at about 6:30pm on 15/7/08, her brother, Armick Escobar, 22yrs, left home in a silver Pathfinder (License Plate #C-14277) driven by Julian Barrow. He has not been seen or heard from since. Armick is of Creole descent, about 5ft 11ins in height, weighs about 160 lbs, slim built low hair cut and was last seen wearing a grey and white Polo shirt, ¾ grey Dickies pants and green and black Jordan Tennis. Julian Barrow is being sought by police for questioning in regards to the missing person. RE-MISSING PERSON: Reference missing person report made by Denise Carr on the 14/7/08. Delaroy Emmerson Carr returned home in good health. CALEDONIA WOMAN WARNED At about 7:00pm on 14.7.08 while PC # 921 V. Guzman was at the Caledonia Police Station his neighbor Margarita Pott started to burn grass in her yard and Guzman started to be affected by the smoke which was blown directly to the Police Station. PC Guzman approached Pott and informed her to put out the fire but instead she uttered “You are a fool and a gossiper.” PC Guzman verbally warned Margarita Pott, 39yrs, of Caledonia Village, Corozal District for a Summons for the offense of Insulting Words. |
