The Desk of Commander Administration is charged with the responsibilities of improving “conditions of service” of personnel, provide support to the operational arm of the Police Department in meeting the Department’s objectives thus providing quality service to the citizens of Belize as a whole.
Responsibilities: that fall under Commander Administration are as follows, but not limited to the below mentioned:
(i)Communications (ii)Vehicular fleet and transport Branch Management (iii)Account Staff Supervision (iv)Quartermaster Store (v)Buildings and Equipments (vi)Department’s Armoury (vii)Acquisition/Indents/Capital Needs/Procurement (viii)Ensure that serving members receive financial benefits in accordance with the Department’s Conditions of Service (ix)Police Firearms and Firearms submitted for destruction (x)Carpentry Section (xi)Inspection of Formation/Sub-Formation/Units accountable for use of the Department equipments
