The first meeting of the Crime Control Council was held at the Princess Hotel Conference Room today, May 8th 2008, at 2pm. The meeting began with the introduction of the council members; followed by remarks made by Min. of National Security Hon. Carlos Perdomo. Once underway, members of the council began discussions on matters pertaining to the fight against and the prevention of crime. At the conclusion, a date and new venue, (Thurs. June 19, at Central Bank) for the next meeting was agreed.
